School Bus Service Areas

Cristo Rey Jesuit High School provides transportation options to most areas within the Minneapolis Public Schools district boundaries, as well as portions of Bloomington, Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Columbia Heights, Fridley, Richfield, and Robbinsdale.

Students who live 2 miles or less from the school are not automatically assigned to a bus route. However, they may request placement at the nearest existing stop after the school year begins.
Students who live outside district boundaries may use the nearest existing bus stop available.
Even if you reside within the transportation boundary, you may need to walk several blocks to reach your bus stop due to route timing limitations.
Please note that routes and stop locations are determined by the bus company, not the school. Therefore, we cannot guarantee specific stop placements.
The bus company mails stop information during the first week of August.
Route adjustments cannot be requested until two weeks after school begins, and processing changes may take up to two weeks.

Transportation Boundaries

Northern Boundary 70th Ave N to Brooklyn Blvd, than heads north towards HWY 100

Western Boundary W Boundary /Bottinrau Blvd follows Vincent all the way down to HYW 55 , then by Bryn Mawr Elementary School and cuts over to Hennepin Ave

Southern Boundary Hennepin Ave to HWY 62 cuts over to Penn Ave to 98th St W, then cuts back south toward HWY 77 alongside the Airport to HWY 62, and cuts up the Mississippi River and follows that all the way back north

Eastern Boundary runs up the Mississippi River to Downtown and cuts over to University Ave and runs up NE Clevland Ave, and cuts over to the Southwest to 49th Ave NE & Filmore St NE crosses over Hwy 694 & Central Ave toward University Ave, than goes west at Rainbow Dr NE

Public Transportation / Student Passes

Cristo Rey students may purchase a Student Go-To Pass, which provides unlimited access to all regional buses and trains. The school is conveniently located near several major transit lines.

Student Go-To Passes must be renewed quarterly on the following schedule:
