Many opportunities for volunteering currently exist at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School, and more ways to help become apparent all the time. The contributions of your time and talent are integral in sustaining and improving this organization so that we may continue to positively affect our students and their families.
In order for our mission to become a reality, Cristo Rey Jesuit High School relies on many volunteers from the community. These volunteers are responsible for working with small groups of students or with individuals to provide them with the individualized help and support that they need in order to achieve success in their college preparatory courses. Volunteers serve as tutors during students' 'structured study period,' during the afterschool program or can indirectly impact student success by volunteering in the college counseling office, the library, or the administrative offices.
We strive to build mutually beneficial relationships between volunteers and students. Not only do volunteers receive the satisfaction of helping a student but the student benefits from the positive relationships being formed. If you don’t feel particularly skilled at tutoring a student in their academics, consider any of the other ways to support our students.
We invite you to become part of our mission by volunteering your time and talents to help our students.
