Our students work hard in school and at work. Keeping the mind and body healthy are very important to their success in the classroom and on the job. In our Wellness Center, we have two full-time counselors who are available to meet with students to support them in their pursuits. Extra-curricular activities, both athletic and co-curricular provide students with opportunities for leadership and character development. Campus Ministry events and activities help students develop spiritually.

Extra-curricular involvement is an important component of the Cristo Rey Jesuit High School education. While student involvement is voluntary, it is strongly encouraged to compliment the leadership skills, character development and interpersonal communication skills that are learned both in class and at work. Each of our students has different talents and abilities and through extra-curricular involvement, they are able to share those talents with others not only in our community, but the broader Twin Cities community as well.

Because of the value that extra-curricular involvement can add to a student's development as a person, colleges and universities take extra-curricular involvement into consideration when determining acceptance and awarding scholarships. Therefore we encourage parents/guardians to encourage their students to participate in our extra-curricular programs as they may increase a students’ opportunity for success.
