STEP ONE: Apply online here*After submitting your online application, you will receive a confirming email with links to additional required application steps.
STEP TWO: Typed 400 Word Essay Describe yourself, what are your plans for the future and how Cristo Rey will help you achieve your goals.

STEP FOUR: Parent Release InformationCristo Rey will send the signed Request for Records form to your 8th / 7th grades school(s)to obtain Transcripts, Test scores, Immunization Records and Attendance.

STEP FIVE: Three Teacher RecommendationsPlease request your teacher recommendations through the submission page of your online application. Please DO NOT create a new account. The recommendations should be from your 8th grade English/Language Arts teacher, 8th grade Math teacher, and a Community Leader such as Priest, Pastor, Coach, other teacher that can attest to your character and leadership skills.

STEP SIX: Entrance Exam (Makeup Day)
Each applicant must complete an academic assessment as part of the application process. Assessment day is
Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 9:00 AM. Limited make-up test days will be offered. Call 612-545-9736 or email

STEP SEVEN: Financial Aid applicationAll Cristo Rey applicants are required to submit a
Financial Aid application to determine tuition and eligibility. Please accompany this form with the following documentation from all adults living in the household.
• 2020 or 2021 W2s
• 2020 or 2021 1040s
• 2020 or 2021 – two paystubs
• Applicant’s Birth Certificate (Students must be 14 years old by September 1st of their freshmen year)
• Other source of income such as SSI, State assistance, retirement benefits
