Cristo Rey Jesuit Builds Leaders Through Work and Study

The importance of CWSP cannot be overstated. The success of each student and the school depends on it. And if community accolades for CWSP are an indication, Cristo Rey Jesuit’s recent honor as Non-Profit of the Year at the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce’s 2017 Best in Business Award ceremony is telling.

Our First State Championship!

On Saturday, June 10, 2017, sophomore Kya Phillips became the first student in the history of Cristo Rey Jesuit to win a Minnesota State High School League state championship of any kind when she won the Class A 400 meter race at Hamline University.

Faith and Family Guide College-Bound Entrepreneur

Viridiana Arevalo will be the first in her family to attend college next fall. This accomplishment is no small feat considering that first-generation students often don’t have the family support or expectation of pursuing post-secondary education.

100% of Seniors ACCEPTED to College!

The class of 2017 is busy making their final college selections. Seniors have been accepted to institutions such as Creighton University, Marquette University, College of the Holy Cross, Howard University, and Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.

Bishop Edward K. Braxton to Speak at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School

The Most Reverend Edward K. Braxton, Ph.D., S.T.D., Bishop of Belleville, Illinois will give an address to Cristo Rey Jesuit High School on Friday, February 3rd, at 8:00 AM, in the School Auditorium. The Bishop’s address will examine key elements contributing to the racial divide in the United States and the emergence of the Black Lives Matter Movement from the perspective of the Catholic Church.
