Rachel Morris, AP World History Teacher, Highlighted in Catholic Spirit

Rachel Morris has long believed that Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Minneapolis is a close-knit school. Students and faculty rely on it, she said.

“We have such a strong sense of community that we are just trying to lean on each other day by day,” said Morris, 30, who teaches world history and serves as an instructional coach to help other teachers. “We want to meet our students and our families where they are and give them as much support as we can.”

For Morris, a member of St. Thomas the Apostle in Minneapolis, being part of a Catholic community is a vital expression of her faith.
