Cristo Rey to Build Third-Floor Expansion in 2024!

Over the summer, Cristo Rey Jesuit High School received a transformational gift from the WEM Foundation. Whitney and Betty MacMillan (WEM Foundation) have been supporters of the mission of Cristo Rey for over ten years, and with this donation, they will continue to support the students for years to come. We are humbled and honored to have received this incredible gift. 

The timely announcement of this gift will allow us to create a space wholly owned by Cristo Rey to support our students and our school community. Beginning in June of 2024, Cristo Rey will begin expanding a portion of our third floor into a much-needed 5,100+ finished square foot space to cultivate, foster, and create more opportunities for engagement. The space will provide a new cafeteria with enough seating for approximately 350 students, a bistro-style kitchen, a nutrition office, and flexibility for meeting space.

The anticipated completion date is December 2024, and we are planning for minimal disruption to the school schedule. We will continue to provide updates as plans progress.

This is an exciting time for Cristo Rey Jesuit High School as we continue our commitment to providing the best college and career preparatory education in the area.
