Students at Cristo Rey not only learn in the classroom, but meet with other local schools and universities to share ideas and learn from others. These learning exchanges are a vital component to understanding the world we live in and reinforce our students' classroom lessons.
Students from Cristo Rey and St. Thomas
On September 30, 2008, students from Cristo Rey hosted seniors from the University of St. Thomas during an afternoon session. Our students proudly showed their UST guests around our state-of-the-art building in a unique activity designed to share common experiences and set the stage for additional learning exchanges to be held throughout the year. The UST students, participating in a service learning project, provided positive role models for our college bound students.
