Hire4Ed Work-Study
Cristo Rey’s Hire4Ed work-study program provides students with real-world work experience and pays more than half of the students’ cost of education.
The program is possible thanks to local corporate clients, big and small, that open their companies to our students and make a difference in the community!
How our school works
- Cristo Rey allows students with limited resources who cannot afford a college preparatory education to get it through its unique work-study program.
- Hire4Ed program underwrites the cost of education and exposes the student to a corporate work environment that broadens his/her horizons and encourages each of them to seek a better future.
- The program benefits companies that hire our students. Our student workers are well-trained, cost-effective, and always eager to learn. Not only will your company have a chance to meet the next generation of employees but also play an active role in their future success.
- In all schools across the national Cristo Rey Network, corporate clients continuously renew their commitment to be part of the solution and increase the chances that urban young adults become achieving members of society. As little as one full-time, entry-level position allows four students to acquire valuable work experience, marketable job skills, and funds for education.
