Shadow Visits

Eighth grade students who have already attended an Open House are encouraged to experience Cristo Rey Jesuit High School firsthand as "Pumas for a day." We have many Student Ambassadors who are eager to share our school.

PUMAS FOR A DAY

Eighth graders can follow the life of a Cristo Rey Jesuit student for a day by:

  • attending assembly (known as Kiva),
  • participating in college-preparatory classes
  • eating lunch with their host and his/her friends.

Shadow visits occur during regularly scheduled schools days from 7:45 am - 1:30 pm.

Eighth graders should come appropriately dressed in a solid colored, collared shirt and dress pants. No hats, shorts or sandals. We also ask that visitors respect other elements of our dress code such as removing facial piercings and facial hair.

At the end of their visit, visiting "Pumas" will also be interviewed by a faculty or staff member, as a part of the application process.

Please call 612-545-9736 or email us to schedule a visit.
