The cost of education for a student per year is approximately $11,000. Of this total, approximately 70% will be earned by the students in their Hire4Ed job.
The Hire4Ed Program places students in entry-level corporate jobs in area hospitals, banks, law firms and other business and non-profit offices where they work five days per month to earn approximately 60% of the cost of their education.
Integrated into the academic curriculum, Hire4Ed gives students a unique opportunity to get first-hand experience in the corporate work force. There, they can grow in confidence and skill by using their personal gifts and academic preparation in a safe and supportive environment.
Students find that their jobs help them focus better on their studies, and vice versa. Also, students gain valuable experience that helps them select future college studies and careers.
Families are required to help with the remainder of the cost of education by paying tuition of $200 a month for twelve months. Financial aid to help pay this $2,400 is available to families who qualify. Every effort will be made to make Cristo Rey affordable to families.
All families must complete a financial aid application as part of their application for admission.
