Transfer Students

Cristo Rey Jesuit High School accepts a limited number of 10th and 11th grade transfers to begin at the start of each school year. The process and requirements for admission for transfer students are much more demanding than for incoming 9th graders.


 

Requirements for 9th Grade Students:

Current 9th grade students who intend to transfer to Cristo Rey Jesuit H.S. for 10th grade must earn the equivalent of 6 total Cristo Rey Jesuit HS credits (1 credit = 1 academic year), with a grade of C or better.

Those credits must be earned in the following classes:

  • Algebra 1 or Geometry
  • Physical Science or Biology
  • Social Studies (Geography preferred)
  • English 9
  • Physical Education and Health
  • Other elective

Requirements for 10th Grade Students:

In order to transfer into the 11th grade, students must have earned the equivalent of 12 total Cristo Rey Jesuit HS credits with a grade of B or better. Credits must reflect the classes listed above along with the following additional classes:

  • Geometry or Algebra 2
  • Biology or Chemistry
  • Social Studies (World History preferred)
  • English 10
  • Foreign Language (Spanish preferred)
  • Other elective

Applicants must complete the Application for Admission and Transfer Addendum.
