Eighth Grade "Shadow" Visits

Eighth grade students who have already attended an Open House are encouraged to experience Cristo Rey Jesuit HS firsthand as "Pumas for a day." We have many Student Ambassadors who are eager to share our school.

Pumas for a Day

Eighth graders can follow the life of a Cristo Rey Jesuit HS student for a day by:

  • attending advisory or assembly (known as Kiva),
  • participating in college-preparatory classes
  • eating lunch with their host and his/her friends.

Shadow visits occur during regularly scheduled schools days from 7:45 am - 12:45 pm

Eighth graders should come appropriately dressed in a solid colored, collared shirt and dress pants. No hats, shorts or sandals.

At the end of their day, all students who visit Cristo Rey Jesuit HS will also be interviewed by a faculty or staff member, as a part of the application process.

Please call 612-545-9736 or email us to schedule a visit.
