Cristo Rey Report Card

We hope you are as inspired by our students’ progress as we are. In academics, they have made great strides in reading and in math. In fact, 20% more of our sophomores are reading on grade level today than when they arrived in the fall of 2007. 24% more of our freshmen are reading on grade level today than when the arrived last fall. Our sophomores gained 1.2 years growth in math, and our freshmen gained 3 years growth this year.

In their Hire4Ed work, our supervisors rated our students’ performance very high in three important areas, Value of Job Performed, Accuracy of Work and Enthusiasm and Motivation.  Our students are meeting high expectations and delivering value to our clients.


Because of your generous support, we were able to raise $2,185,135, exceeding our forecasted goal for the year.  Your gifts are helping students learn and work their way toward a life of dignity as productive and contributing members of society.


As we look to the near future, we have accepted 93 students out of our goal of 125 new students for the 2009-2010 school year.  We plan to meet our goal by the end of August.
