Leadership
Leadership is shared and spread between a strong, visionary leadership
team and a dedicated, responsible faculty and staff. The principal and
the faculty collaborate in the development, periodic revision, and
evaluation of the curriculum.
Essential Leadership Roles of the Principal:
- Inside the school, the principal is the instructional leader and the manager of a team of teachers and other education support team members.
- The principal, in collaboration with the leadership team, faculty and staff, organizes, plans, and runs consistent staff development at the school, including staff meetings and retreats.
- The principal works in collaboration with the Hire4Ed Director to integrate the academic and Hire4Ed aspects into the curriculum.
Essential Leadership Roles of the Teacher:
- Teachers share school leadership and management responsibilities with principal.
- Teachers mentor other teachers.
Essential Elements of Parent/Family Engagement:
Students’ parents or caregivers also play important roles in leadership
within the school through their active participation in their children's
education.
- Families play an active role in the education and school life of their children.
- Parental voice has a place in school organization and culture.
Additionally, Cristo Rey Jesuit High School's Administration and Board of Directors support and guide our faculty and staff to make the school ever-more successful in achieving its mission.
