Qualifications:

  • Minnesota Teacher License in Content Area is preferred
  • Master's Degree in Content Area is preferred but not required
  • Prior successful inner city high school teaching experience is preferred
  • The ideal candidates will be persons of faith with a thorough understanding of, and commitment to, the educational mission of Cristo Rey Jesuit High School and the Cristo Rey Network
  • Teachers must: posses a vibrant personality and positive attitude toward working with adults and high school students
  • Be a highly qualified teacher of their content area
  • Have inner city secondary school teaching experience
  • Be competent in designing and implementing curricula to serve a heterogeneous student population who is diverse in culture, religion and ability
  • Be a competent team player and have the ability to collaborate with their peers in a project based learning educational atmosphere
