Jim Ryan was one of visionaries responsible for the development and construction of Cristo Rey Jesuit High School.
Jim Ryan, CEO of Ryan Companies, passed away on May 28th after a 10 month battle with melanoma. Ryan, 66, was an ardent supporter of Cristo Rey Jesuit High School--Twin Cities and his legacy will be felt for years to come. Ryan and his wife Colleen gave generously of their time and resources to advance our mission.
As President of Cristo Rey Jesuit High School--Twin Cities Rev. David Haschka S.J. wrote to our community on the day of Ryan's passing: "Let us be sure to keep his family and many close friends in our hearts and prayers. Jim gave significant wealth to this school, but he also gave us his love and care. We honor his memory best by carrying on the mission that he and we all have embraced – young men and women guided by faith, preparing for life, serving others."
